If you like being off the beaten path, this place is for you! We loved being surrounded by nature. Each cabin is spaced apart so there’s lots of privacy. You can sit on the balcony in the evening and watch the stars or listen for elephants. Duminda made delicious breakfasts and helped us organize a safari and scooter rental for reasonable prices. He also organized a walking safari just next to the cottages.
Quiet and centrally located hotel for visiting Sigiriya and Polonnaruwa. Delicious, fresh, local cuisine. Deminda is lovely, helpful, and makes our stay so enjoyable. The location is very secure because of the elephant barrier, and Deminda is always there from the moment we arrive.
The manager is really kind, and the little houses nestled in the jungle capture the atmosphere perfectly.I recommend booking the tree house if you're feeling adventurous.
Very humble and kind! He prepared local food for us, everything cooked to order. The place is fenced for security, and the facilities have large windows overlooking the forest, making for an experience that's hard to beat, as it feels like you're sleeping in the middle of the jungle. The patio is large and very well maintained, and we also know that everything is handmade, which doubles its value! I'm delighted with this place and its services. Thank you!
